2026 NFL Wild Card Weekend Complete Betting Preview
Wild Card Weekend Is Here
The 2026 NFL playoffs begin with six intriguing matchups spread across Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. With the Seahawks and Broncos enjoying first-round byes as the top seeds, the remaining 12 teams battle it out for a spot in the Divisional Round.
Saturday's Games
Panthers vs Rams (-10.5) kicks off the weekend at 4:30 PM ET. Carolina limps in having lost two straight, and the Rams are heavy road favorites. LA has covered in seven straight January games.
Bears vs Packers (-1.5) is a classic rivalry renewed at 8:00 PM ET. Green Bay has dominated this series historically, but Chicago took the December 20th meeting 22-16 in overtime. Caleb Williams says he's "built for these moments."
Sunday's Slate
Bills (-1.5) at Jaguars features two of the hottest teams in football. Jacksonville has won eight straight and covered in every game during that streak. Buffalo brings playoff experience but faces a hostile road environment.
49ers at Eagles (-4.5) pits two experienced playoff teams. Philadelphia's defense allows just 19.1 points per game, while San Francisco has won six straight.
Chargers at Patriots (-3.5) sees New England's remarkable turnaround put to the test. The Pats went from 4-13 to 14-3 under Mike Vrabel, though they faced the league's easiest schedule.
Monday Night Football
Texans (-3) at Steelers closes Wild Card Weekend. Houston rides a nine-game winning streak and owns the league's top defense. Pittsburgh clinched the AFC North in Week 18 but has lost six straight postseason games.
Our Best Bets
After analyzing the matchups, we like the Bears +1.5 at home against a Packers team that's lost four of five. We're also backing the Jaguars +1.5 to continue their incredible run at home against Buffalo.
